Noticed by a friend of a friends next door neighbour who was selling his house in a village near where I live,and it was in the garage. I called round to see it about a week after having heard not even knowing it was for sale. Unfortunately the owner had advertised it in a local mag that day. I ended up in a dutch auction but still managed to secure an excellent price. It was in good condition but had a blown engine. Had been put away in 1990 and not bothered with at all. Within 3 days it was running, Mot"d and at the local Tescos. The car had a meteculas strip down about thirty years ago and only 3 owners since new. I have just finished a respray, rhubarb and custard!!! |
